critical thinking method in a polarized world

The Why
is a Pie

“when the entire world is connected, the most adamant make the most noise - and the most adamant are polarized ideologies.  A connected world is doomed to polarization as the increase of connectivity can never be matched by a profoundly lesser increase is a population's understanding through critical thinking”

The Why is a Pie method seeks to change that

Overview

The Why is a Pie is a methodology and an ideology that is intended to provide a tool to

combat this polarization. It takes the unconventional directive to discard the pursuit of agreement in its foundation, replacing the need to win and/or convince with a method to listen and understand exclusively. It sets aside everything we know about debate and argument and replaces common Lincoln/Douglas practices, which are engrained in how we present topics in law, business, and socially, with a critical thinking method of communication grounded in a veritable pie chart of what is important, how important it is, and seeks to create a comprehensive bridge of factors involved with an emphasis on non-emotional listing and exploration of the elements present. The result is a collaborative experience with increased engagement between parties that have heretofore been unapproachable, polarized, and derisive.

The Architect Behind the Narrative

Don Kimenker was the former Publisher of MacAddict Magazine, a Grammy-considered music artist, and English Student of the Year during his college years.  He has created hundreds of music reviews, corporate presentations, and original songs, and has spent his adult life writing about and experiencing the effects of extreme behaviors in his own life and observing the world around him.  Let his insights into logic, math, critical thinking, and his human relatable pros, introduce you and your community to a method that is intended to take the most polarized ideologies adopted by groups and individuals, and establish greater understandings about what we have in common
